Members Membership is open to all, and is by audition. Some ability to sight-read is expected. Members pay an annual subscription, and in addition pay a nominal £1.00 per copy for any music that is borrowed for them through our Librarian. The Librarian will also purchase scores on behalf of members, and can usually obtain a small discount on the published price. Applications to join SMS should be made to the Secretary.
